Warning! These are all phishing attempts! Your bank, no matter which one it is, will never e-mail you to ask that you "verify" your account numbers or passwords. These are always strictly phishing attempts authored by thieves who would like to raid your bank accounts. There are no exceptions, ever. See four different phishing videos, linked here.

Phishing Message Not From Suntrust Online Banking

Not From: Suntrust Online Banking Not From: <[email protected]> Dear SunTrust Online Customer (Intended Victim), We have not recently determined that different computers have logged onto your Online Banking account, and multiple password failures were not present before the login. It is now not necessary to re-confirm your account information to anyone. This scam-mail was received on Oct 3, 2011, yet it claims accounts would be "suspended indefinitely" by Sept 2. Wupth. If this is not completed by September 02 2011, we will be forced to suspend your account indefinitely, as it may have been used for fraudulent purposes. We thank you for your non-cooperation in this matter. To confirm your Online Banking records click on the following link: https://onlineserve.suntrust.com/Logon.aspx The phishing link was disabled, and the fraudulent website has already been removed Thank you for your patience in this matter. Hey hey! It's two bank commercials in one! First they want you to sign onto their fake BOA server, and then at the bottom of the message they start talking about Chase Bank. ROFLMFAO!

This is strictly a phishing attempt by a scammer in order to gain access to your PayPal account. Do nothing that it says. If you did not authorize this change, check with family members and others who may have access to your account first.
